Want to reduce waste?

Here are some tips

It is estimated that approximately 10 million tons of plastic find their way into our oceans every year. The problem of plastic pollution in our oceans has become so pervasive that even the deepest point in any ocean, the Mariana Trench, which is 36,000 feet below the surface of the Pacific, has been found to contain a plastic bag. At the current rate of plastic pollution, it is projected that by the year 2050, there may be more plastic in our oceans than fish by weight. To combat this issue, it is important to say no to disposable plastic cutlery, straws and other single-use plastics whenever possible. One should also avoid using plastics that cannot be recycled if there are alternatives available. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid products with excessive or unnecessary plastic packaging and to instead adopt reusable items like water bottles, shopping bags, keep cups, and travel cutlery.
